Meeting up with old friends...

Hey up peeps!  How's it been for you since my last blog post? Hope it's been a positive few days and if not, I hope that it gets better. It's been fairly quiet but nice.  On Saturday I went retail shopping (again!) and I bought yet more clothes! Beginning to realise how much I do enjoy buying new things and they help make me feel better. I bought a new blue fluffy jumper (it's the fifth one in my expanding collection - oh my, didn't actually realise I've got that many of fluffy jumpers!) I also treat myself to a book called The Book of Skulls which is a fabulous little book full of pictures and brief details of each picture. It is amazing how skulls have inspired so many people from artists, fashion designers to relgious beliefs and all sorts of people.  On the Sunday after we came back from food shopping, we had a nice visit off my auntie and uncle as it was their little grandson's birthday party in the centre next door. Heard it was a great party

My picture!

Hello everybody!  How are we today? Did you all have a good weekend? I know I did! On the Saturday I bought another new dress and had a nice afternoon in town. Then on the Sunday, I went to join in the celebrations for my cousin Sean's 50th. Had some dinner there and had a great time!  Skipping past the last few days and onto last night. I had made a birthday card picture for a member of the Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean's birthday. The picture that I drew was a part of my craft project and I decided seeing as I know he likes skulls, I'd use this picture for his card. So late last night, I discovered that the BSB included it in their card from the fans so I know for sure that he would see it :D they ran this little idea on all their media platforms and I wanted to join in having a bit of fun. I never for one moment thought they would like it and use it, I'm rather happy! It's one of the things I like about BSB, they're very interactive with their fans. F

Hello...  So after an afternoon doing retail therapy which has tired me out, I can finally relax and put my feet up. In places on my leg, it's a bit puffy so it will hopefully do it a bit of good having it raised up.  It does feel strange without my uncle being here now he has gone back home but I guess all good things come to an end which will mean something else that's also good is around the corner.  For Christmas, as a present, I got given a pair of black trainer boots which I'm loving! I've worn them for the first time this afternoon and they are mega comfortable! My parents had brought them from my friends stall in the local indoor market so that's an extra bonus.  Here is a picture of my footwear.  Tonight plans are to relax in front of the telly, and later on, I'll have a play around on my iPad; listening to music, watching music videos on YouTube and play a game. I may even watch a bit of Celebrity Big Brother on Demand 5. What are your p

Reflection and Inspiration for 2014!

Hey peeps!  Happy New Year to one and all!! Hope you all had fun celebrating the new year last night... Although I only recognised a few tracks (it was a Motown and Soul night) as it was mostly soul that was played, I tried to enjoy myself as much as possible. I quite like a bit of Motown so felt disappointed with the music. However I did feel great in my outfit! I wore my new peephole dress. I now know that I want another dress like this. I'll post a pic for you to see my dress.  Today I've just been chilling out; watching telly and eating which are things I like to do. I've been thinking about the things that I would like to achieve this year. I would love to have my second craft stall (got one planned for Easter), keep on with my blogging (this blog and my other blog), my Dinkykts EDS Diaries, go to as many concerts as I can (got Backstreet Boys in April), and maybe start writing my book. I can't think of anything else at the moment but I'm sure I'll s
