Embracing Doubt and Being Tested

Image
Hey peeps!! How are you all this week? I'm doing alright ☺ seeing as I missed a week or two not so long back, I think it's only fair that I do two posts this week so this will be my first one. I hope that is okay with you lot? As much as I love to write, especially about topics that I feel most inspired by and feel strongly about, it's you that keeps me writing.  This post is a motivational just like in my previous one which I hope you liked btw.    While I may not be able to go to work like most other people my age because of various health issues making me 'successful', I feel like I am a success in my own way. Why do I think this you may ask? Every day I continue to strive forward with my goals. Okay, not every day or even every week that I can write a new blog post, or film a new video but in between, I work on new ideas and preparations for when I can post. Most days I will upload a post on my Facebook page talking about the EDS (Ehlers-Danlos

Tuesday's Motivation

Image
Hey peeps!!  So today's it's Tuesday and I thought why not have a weekly motivational post?! I hope you're all doing as well as you can be.  We all know that weekends are much more exciting and you feel more inspired but what about during the week? Surely we shouldn't neglect the main part of the week or think of it any lesser than the weekend... I guess what I'm trying to say is that through the week when we possibly use our brains more; with concentration, forcing ourselves to work alongside people that we wouldn't necessarily call our friends or being on the go all day every day and I think we all need a bit extra motivation. Even if those of us who can't work due to health reasons or on maternity/paternity leave etc, we all need to feel inspired and motivated.    This quote makes me think that it may only be Tuesday and it might have been a really difficult day for you but today is just one day out of 365. If you're at work and can't

Welcome Lyric Deanna McLean!!

Image
Hey peeps!!  This is just a quick post to say how happy and excited I am for my favourite Backstreet Boys' member; AJ McLean and his beautiful wife; Rochelle. She gave birth to their second daughter yesterday (Sunday 19th March 2017). So I'd like to welcome baby Lyric Deanna McLean to this crazy, exciting and big world.  I will admit I was a bit shocked at the name 'Lyric' because it's not really a proper name but I like it and I think she will suit being called 'Lyric'. I can't wait to see a picture of her and some pics of her with mammy, daddy and big sister Ava 😀  I can't imagine how excited Ava Jaymes must be but I'm sure she will be a wonderful big sister to Lyric. Here's a photo of Ava with her mammy and daddy...   All the best to the lovely McLean family and enjoy being a family of four, lots of love.  Anyway enough from me for now and I shall see you all in my next post ❤xxx

Body Diversity Within The Social Media

Image
Hi peeps!! How are you all? It's been a short while since my last post which has been due to lack of inspiration for blogging.  After many conversations and recently being inspired by fashion magazines, America's Next Top Model and browsing in clothes stores, I've made up my mind of the path I want to go down in life. I want people to feel inspired, encouraged and supported in following their goals. I want to live a good example that no matter what life throws at me re; my health issues, barriers and hurdles. I also want to see more diversity within social media, fashion industry, music/television industries and the different brand companies.  In the last year or so I have seen more diversity such as Winnie Harlow, Lauren Wasser, and Ashley Graham who are well known models. There was the time when Katie Piper had her catwalk show celebrating diversity which included one of my friends. I actually went to apply but the dates were much too soon for it to have been pos
